Not sure Carlos -- Do you have a picture handy?Stikpusher wrote: ↑Sat May 18, 2024 1:28 pm Tom & Chris, thanks for the compliments on my Oscar's paint so far.
Chris, that seatbelt looks great! You could do all types of harnesses it looks like! I wonder how that printing would work for the canvas & webbing seats in choppers?

Re: Empire of the Rising Sun Group Build
Continuing to be surprised by what you can do with only a Filament 3D printer and a .2 mil nozzle. Seatbelts anyone? I printed it flat and then press formed it to the seat contour. I have always loved Wildcats. I like the center wing design and the underdog story of the plane. It held the line in the Pacific until the Hellcat and F4U arrived. After seeing Paul Boyer's build of this kit, I had to pick a few up. Such beautiful plastic inside these boxes! https://i.postimg.cc/wxQ...

Re: CB's Hasegawa 1/72 P-47D Razorback
Very nicely done Chris! I would have probably spent a few hours working with Evergreen strip and rod styrene to do the same thing, cutting, sanding, test fitting, repeat.... How long does it take to do a 3-D print like that? Thanks Carlos. At my current CAD skill level, probably around one or two h...

Hasegawa's braille scale R-2800 needed some help so I printed some distributors and magneto and such to stick on. Now it looks like a P&W. https://i.postimg.cc/sDJgs5xb/2024-1-72-HSGW-P47-Razorback-JYX-7027.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/RCK0pkBS/2024-1-72-HSGW-P47-Razorback-JYX-7032.jpg https://i.po...
