That's a great looking build. My concerns in terms of shelf space have always been horizontal. Clearly you have vertical concerns! Well done. I was active in the San Diego IPMS group years ago and I'm certain they would like to see this. David Weeks was a big real space builder down here.

Looking good. I'm hoping to hear the fit is typical tamiya as I'd like to add a 262 to the collection.

Yes. The decal set has the red stripes for the front of the prop tips.

Waiting for the prop to dry. White tips in front, yellow on the back - probably the worst case scenario over black. Anyhow... I'll finish this one up tomorrow

Sure has the genes of the F-16. Nice looking bird and a good looking build!

It's pretty nice overall. Fit is fine, though the assembly sequence is a bit different, particularly the wing root. And some of the instruction locations are vague - also the cowl flaps didn't fit well and are out of scale. I'd scratch build them next time. I went with metal gear as I read the stock...

Thanks for the kind words. The decals came with the kit - looked like an add-on/rebox as some of the markings were separate. Builds up quick and pretty nice detail - great old Tamiya kit.
