Hello All, after a very trying period I found my way back to my bench and discovered Herman has been working diligently on this bird. He decided to add a scratch built radio compartment, all the wiring detail to the ip, and hacked apart the mg magazines so they can be detailed also..... Pictures to follow soon... To all of you who left a word of support after the loss of my Father I really appreciate you. Thank you. I used to help him out of bed pretty much every morning for years. Now I am trying to get used to a new "normal" and find that with winter here I have time to wrap my head around building this aircraft again. Its coming in after the official end of the GB but oh well....

Thanks for checking in! :bye:

Brent, I don't remember Hermann either, but now that I've gotten to know him, I'm thrilled to make his acquaintance. I too, used to have a crew of guys which 'helped' in all my builds. Maybe I should bring them back to show with my work as well.

Keep Hermann busy and I'll be praying for your wife.

Brent, he is in heaven and smiling down upon you! (Apologies if religious beliefs are not part of the forum per se), but I truly believe that your father knows he is in your heart. Once a month I write a letter to my deceased parents to let them know how I am doing, and keep them close to me. We all matter and our time here is but a prelude to another grander moment yet to come. HNY

Hi All, well we are past the deadline on this one but still chipping away at it. Herman is starting to plumb in the scratch built radio compartment he made. I'm not sure how much will be visible but after Herman found his copy of a E variant radio compartment he went kinda nuts.. Hope you all are doing well..

As always thanks for looking!
