The more research that I do on the ship, the more I think that the colors are WAY to dark. Not sure where to go with this. :headbang:

If your doing Measure 22 then the colors are very dark, almost German Grey.
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting the head off a Hydra, two more take it’s place.

Measure 21, overall Navy Blue is a very dark scheme.

Yeah mine doesn't look that blue. I think I had one of the colors wrong. The deck is supposed to be Dark Grey Blue. I was using Dark Blue Grey. There is a big difference in colors. Gonna swing by the LHS and see if they have something that will work.

And Deck Blue, is a different shade than what is on all the vertical surfaces. I’m not well versed in USN ship colors, so I can’t suggest to use this or that color for what you need.

You could give these a try. I'm going to order a set soon for the NC and a set for the Akagi.

Well I decided to just go with the paints I have for it. It doesn't look all that bad really. Just want to get it done now.
