I’m trying to keep some activity of mine on here... it’s one thing to be in the modeling doldrums, but quite another to feel the urge to work and not have the free time to get any bench time.

I feel you there! I almost have the urge to build but work gets in the way. And then there's the days that I come off the ambulance after no sleep and can't build without some sleep.

Nice work on upgrading the tanks! They look great! :shoutout:

I definitely relate. When the model building bug hits all I wanna do is paint every kit I have started in a continuous series, without any interference from the outside world.

Thanks Doc. I just gotta get thru this next bit of transition and then I’ll have all the time I could ever want for my builds.

Yes, there are all of those partial builds just staring at me... daring me to finish them! Especially those Spitfires, since all you guys seem to be building one here right now...

Thanks Tom. It is fun to do these overhauls. I have a few more to do down the road sometime...

Carlos, i laugh heartily at the foolishness of this statement “...I’ll have all the time ...”! Uh, no you won’t. Today for instance... found out yesterday we would have the youngest grandson. This morning, had to make a grocery run, so I added a Hobby Lobby stop, got home and put away stuff, fixed lunch and then found out we have to go get the three oldest grands. Their mom is still having issues from female surgery and is headed to the ER.

You will love retirement, but wonder how you had time to do anything.

Well, as things stand right now, we have no grandchildren. And the three of the kids will be five hours drive away in CA, and our son wherever Uncle Sam sends him... once we get settled in, I foresee a lot of free time until something in that formula changes.

Yeah, and how's the free time thing working out now, Carlos? Just checking :giggles:
