Revell Douglas AD3 Skywarrior

Post by BlackSheep214 »

I didn't want to hijack Lyle's thread on his old Albatros kit thread. Anyway... here it is: a 1956 Revell kit of the Douglas AD3 Skywarrior kit I bought at an Anyique show about 10 years ago.

Box art:

The stand it came with. Decal was already applied when I bought the kit.

Instruction guide (all 4 steps on one page) and decals.

The kit is complete with no parts missing.

This was the part I assembled before I decided not to go any further - top and bottom views of assembled wing part

The rest of the parts and pieces:

While I was finding this old kit, I found this freebie book I had gotten from work a few years ago:

Looks like I beat Lyle by a couple years with the age of this kit. :lashed:

Revell sure did know how to make awesome box art back in the day.

This is awesome! I'll enjoy following this!
