Well I read that it's official as of today. WnW is no more. As soon as I find the official statement I'll post it.

There is a guy or two at IPMS OC that I know will be quite unhappy about this.

That's what I read today:

I will wait until Mr Jackson says that it's over. Man, that would be too bad.

Im not reading anything about them actually closing?
That statement clearly states temporary. Nobody is losing their jobs.
They will be in the same boat as every other company in new zealand. We are at alert level 4. Which means you stay home. We have all been grounded by aunty Jacinder.
The company will continue to operate. If they are struggling financially the government is providing $585 a week per employee to keep people employed. Peter Jackson is still classed as the owner of the company.
Until i see an official press release from wingnut on their website, then its business as usual.
We are all working from home here in NZ if we can.
EDIT: They have announced web orders are being suspended. This will most likely be due to the fact theyre not an essential service and cant post anything.

Ww1aircraftmodel.com says it is a done deal and they will be liquidated, Jackson is no longer with WNW, and other items.

Its not hard to make things up based on loose information.
Im more inclined to believe their website than pretty much anyone else.
The only places that are reporting it are places that require clicks to keep revenue.
Like i said. We are in level 4 lockdown. We cannot leave our homes except to go groceries shopping or if we are an essential service. WnW have said repeatedly that this is a temporary closure in light of the current global pandemic. Same as the company im working for.
We find out on monday if the restrictions are being lifted. Even then it will only be to level 3. Which allows a small amount of extra freedom.
Dont believe any news about them closing up shop until their own website announces it.

Dave Wilson was the guys name. Seemed to hav very up to date info. Roy Sutherland of Barracuda Studios seem to believe the information. Wilson is claiming to have communicated with Jackson today.

However, I ain’t got a dog in this fight, so it will all come out soon enough.
