Oh I will be getting it regardless (to a certain extent) of price. Although I may wait a month or so for Eduard to put out some goodies for it.

I already see a mistake. It says MV-22 everywhere and comes with Marine markings but everything shows a CV-22. And if the price I've seen is real (close to $200), I'm never getting one.

Well you'd think that with all the secrets they steal from the US that they'd get a damn model right. :ballbat:

That does seem a rather excessive price... :hmm:

One of these flew over my house a few weeks ago - a very rare sight where I live!

Now I really don’t get why the Air Force uses the C prefix and the Marine Corps uses the M prefix. If anything, they should reverse those. C is for Cargo, the primary mission of the Marine Corps variant in replacing the CH-46 and CH-53D types, and M is for special ops aircraft, the role of the V-22 in USAF service. :hmm:

Good point. Who knows. That's well above our pay grade.

Now just go to your local Hobby Lobby and pick up the Italeri Gyrene Osprey at 40% off.

I've built one and have another in the stash. There's also the Black Dog Resin sets for the Italeri Osprey.
