My sister had an idea

Post by BlackSheep214 »

Yesterday, we were texting each other and a brilliant idea of her came to mind. She mentioned if I remember how we used to do our models on the front porch at home (mostly during the summer months)and over to grandma and grandpa's house. I do fondly remember those glorious days of our youth.

She said next time when it's safe for her to visot me & travel to N.Y. (she is an elementary teacher in Maryland), she suggested we both work on models together for old times sake. I immediately said Hell yeah!!!!!

Now... to find a car kit for her to work on plus some glue, basic tools to make it complete.
Looks like ill be scouring eBay for kits she used to do. :lashed:

That sounds like great fun!

Sibling model building... not something that I ever shared, but every Christmas morning years ago I spent time building with my kids the models they had received as gifts.

Who knows. Maybe if she rekindled the flames of model kit building, I'll direct her here.

She always liked the old Monogram kits when we're kids. I'll find something. :lashed:

Wow that is awesome! You were one lucky guy having a sister that built models with you! You gotta get pics taken so we can all enjoy this!

What a gift!

That sounds really neat. Does your beloved governor still have a 2 week quarantine when you enter the kingdom of New York?
