I soak my brush tips in lacquer thinner once in a while even if they are working well. I never backflush my Badgers, I used to do that until I determined that it was sending paint where it was never meant to go. I have two suction feed 150's, a 100 with a small gravity cup and a second newer Badger with a gravity cup that is larger than the suction cups on the 150's. The 100 is single action and the rest are double action. I seldom really make any use of the double action feature that I can't do just as well by screwing the needle in or out on the 100.
