Construction jigs/stands

Post by Stuart »

I see from your WIP photos that a lot of you guys have those wooden building/construction jig things?

Are they any good, and where do you get them from?

Anything's got to be better than paint pots :-D

LOL! You’re using the same type I use. I’ve been wanting those wooden jigs myself.

The best stand support is the one that works, and closest to hand. Your aircraft looks great! As far as wooden jigs, I know only US suppliers. I imagine anywhere in Albion where you purchase the aforementioned paint pots would be a possibility.

I bought it from a convention last year, directly from the person who probably makes them (well manufactured probably in China...), hence the pretty cheap price.

Slightly similar is sold by JHmodels (a Czech company)

Try contacting JKim aka: John. I know he has one. I believe Kenny X and Fermis has one as well.

Thanks Gents!

Alas Kari, looking at that one and then looking at my working area - it's much too big...

:hmm: Perhaps I should get some lego...
