Eduard warehouse fire!

Post by BorgR3mc0 »

Apparently the warehouse of Eduard is on fire. They have ceased their webshop immediately. I do hope they have a good insurance and that no production tooling is in the warehouse. Because this is exactly the kind of thing that can kill a good business.

Can’t read Czech. I tried finding some news via google and couldn’t find anything. It’s a devastating loss to the hobby if they didn’t have insurance. Hopefully they do.

In the EU you can't run a business without insurance. Mostly it's the time between the incident and the loss payment that kills the company. Let's hope for the best.

It is confirmed, it is the Eduard warehouse, not their production facility.

Glad to hear the production factory is unscathed. This will definitely set them back before any Eduard products will be available for purchase. Unless there is another warehouse elsewhere. Do keep us posted if they find the cause of the fire.
