That they were. But in all of their previous actions they were up against light defenses and escorted well enough.

Nice kit! I built the Revell one and I have the Accurate Miniatures in the stash.

That is a great looking aircraft that - You know, it's hard to think of a bad looking USN bird, even the SLUF has it's charms. The Navy certainly has a good eye for these things!

That's some cool stuff. What are you planning with the shark?
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

F7U Cutlass was pretty goofy looking, but beauty is in the eye...

Since Jeremy is painting his resin fishes here on SPAM I'm tempted to do some wildlife stuff, too. I love sharks and that thing looks mighty cool!

Well yeah - I guess there's always one - but then compared to some of the Jets WE flew maybe not.

Great looking purchases - I love that Shark! It's a shame it's not 1/48 or 1/35 - lots of potential dio's spring to mind if it was.
