Been a little while, dudes! (too long!)

I have been way too busy.
To get caught back up here...
Got myself a new truck...

2020 Ram...(finally bit the bullet and accepted having a payment again)
Image

A week later, took my work truck in for it's annual DOT inspection....too much $$$...had to get another "new" truck.
Image

Had to wait a week for this...a week for that...so on and so on.
I had a "basket" made for the old truck...didn't fit the "new" truck, so I had some welding done (waited another week) so it'd fit the new truck. Finally got it back...took it off to paint the new steel. The following day, I took the truck in to get new tires....THANK GOD I did!!! Got home after working...just as a storm blew in...had I not taken the truck that morning, I'da been F'ed! It was right in front of the "basket"...

Image

If ya look close (bottom/right of basket), there's a bunny that had a very bad day....shoulda picked a better spot to hide from the storm!
Got basket repaired, got truck back the other day...now it's in for it's DOT insp. I should be up and running after the holiday....I'm only 2 months behind on driveways!!! Amazingly, it has all worked out and calls for handyman and landscaping jobs have kept me busy and paying the bills...and then some!
I've been GOING from dawn 'til dark, 7 days a week for the last 2 months.

In addition to the jobs, I've done a fair amount around the house...

I just can't stop!!!
Did another boulder wall along the driveway. Much like I did in front of the house and along the sidewalk...I cut out the sod, set it aside and dug out the dirt...replaced the sod and built a boulder wall...

Also finally got around to doing the other side of the sidewalk, and also built up the vag(as it's known around here!) into "Rocanoovage Island" (rock-canoe-vagina)

Now...going back to pages 8-9...the deck/pergola.
We got the daughter moved out last month. She moved into the house I did all the remodel work on, + the new deck.
Finally got around to building the pergola...

And...what started this whole thread!!!!
Finished up the tile in the bathroom...just need to put back the vent covers, trim around the ceiling and paint it...and that 7 year project will be done!!!

I thought I was doing good to replace two deck boards and the boards on the top of the railing....lovely work, Ferris. I can see why you stay busy.

No rest for the weary. Glad to see you’ve been busy these days. Hope to find some time on the bench soon once you’ve settled down.

:shoutout:

No wonder you haven’t been around for awhile. Id be surprised if you had any time for model stuff in the middle of all that!

Wow, this makes me both happy and sad to see. Happy because it all looks so beautiful! I'm also thrilled to hear you've been busy with handyman work as well. Out here all I've gotten were four calls from a contractor/property manager for plumbing jobs at a run-down apartment complex... three of which I could do. Made a whopping $300.00 cumulative for all of them during the past five months.

Keep up the outstanding work Jeremy! Glad to see you still stopping in!

Poor bunny! Good thing your truck was out of there! House looks nice. Always wanted a house on the water like that. Very nice stone work.

Looks really good! To bad you don't live closer we want to put in a retaining wall like that but I have no idea how to start it. I'm off work this week and should be building a deck but since the virus had shut down the sawmills wood is hard to come by around here. I had placed a order with Menards and they had everything I needed but the deck boards well they came in they call and tell me that but bad news the other wood that was held for me, I bought and paid for it just waiting for the deck boards to come so they could deliver it all at once, had apparently been sold to another customer but they promised it wouldn't happen again...
