Just so you all know - My wife fully approves of this site and it's members! I was showing her the thread on COVID-19 and she declared that you guys looked like a lot of cool Dudes. She certainly approved of the beards displayed by Fermis and Carlos.

She asked me to pass it on, and to thank you for all the daft pictures posted up in that thread - it really has helped make light of the situation.

Apparently I'm cool too.

No one would want to see mine right now. My wife got me a new beard shampoo they just started selling where she works. after two days I realized I was allergic to it and had a rash under my beard. so last night I shaved it down to a goatee and took about 6 inches off the length so it's only around 4 inches long now. Oh and it hurts!

Oh man that sucks - you have my sympathies. Don't worry though, She's a huge Vikings fan so you're on the cool list anyway!

Seeing how I’ve been in uniform and have had to shave every day since I was 18, except for weekends and vacations, it’s nice to have the option of not having to shave now. Next time that I shave is because I felt like it and not due to some uniform grooming standard.

She was doing well, but this year of her degree course has been so intensive she's not had much time to fly - added to that the weather this autumn and winter just gone sucked. Hopefully in the summer she can get back into it.

I've had to shave mine down a lot because of the virus. It's BS man!!

???? Why ???? Are bearded men more at risk?

I use to have to wear a half face respirator at work when ever I mixed a tank of hydrofluoric acid. Anything more than a mustache would keep you from getting a good seal. We now use a forced air full head system and don't have to worry about shaving anymore.
