SAY IT AIN'T SO!!!

Went to a follow-up Retina specialist doctor appointment this afternoon, went through the whole process to check my right eye, dialation of right eye, pics, etc... Doc looked at the pics.. yup... pointed out he had detected another retina tear. SO.... went through the ugly preparation to fix the tear. I was literally wriggling from the waist down because I absolutely hate going through it. Again!

Yes, I drove home by myself from the doctor's office... carefully... with one eye open since the right one was tearing from the drops.
Did I mention, I hate this type of procedure? :bag:

Receptionist will call next week to make another appointment for 3 months. Told the assistant, he better not find another tear then. :ballbat: :ballbat: :ballbat:

That absolutely sucks to hear, Sorry you have to endure that again. I do hope that the outcome is successful and you get your vision back. As my physical therapist once told me after a failed surgery, "that's why they call it a medical practice" I hope for a quick and problem free recovery for you.

Oh man. More prayers your way. You are a bigger man than me. I would be swing arms and the whole nine yeards. They'd have to tie me down. I have HUGE phobias about stuff near my eyes.

Eye feels a better today... no discomfort from the procedure. I was shocked to hear he detected another tear since my vision was normal anyway. Maybe it’s good he found it.

So my next question to him would be as to how and why these are happening? It’s not like you’re a boxer taking hits to the noggin every afternoon.

Damn that sucks. I have a friend that's going through a lot of the same problems you are and he's an artist.
