Got the decals all done...only took two days!

First off...against my better judgement..I gave the shark mouth decal a go. It didn't go pleasantly. Decals are flat, noses are round this way, that way, and the other way.

Using the decal paper as a template, I cut masking for the outer edge. Cut up spare decals and stuck em to Tamiya tape. Once dried, they didn't stick to the tape at all. I peeled em up, put some Future on the tape and re-placed the decals...once that dried, I cut the teeth.

This really looks great..but, I’d expect no less! Wow....that is also a nifty trick with the tape!

Nice work on the shark mouth! Ditto on the other 110s. :shoutout: :shoutout: :shoutout:

Jeremy that was an outstanding idea with the masking! All of those planes look so incredibly masterful! Wow, I am overwhelmed!

It feels as though all things are right with the world again!

Moving along...

We're in the homestretch now!

...and here is something that I would very much like to never do again....EVER!!!!

Sorry for the blur...couldn't get a good focus.

Even with the calming whispers from the "Admiral"....it was a solid 4 hours of "FuG...FuG...FuG... :headbang: ....FuG... :headbang: " .
The main "poles" were bent...the "X" pieces were crooked. I broke the damn thing in 5 spots. I enjoyed zero minutes of making that thing.
A very hard fought battle....just to get a "pass".

looks pretty good for all that. To some degree, I do feel the pain.

They say modeling is relaxing. Not while fighting these ridiculous complicated antennas. :giggles:
