1/48 Academy F-4J Phantom

Post by Medicman71 »

Again, now that the A-10 is done, I can really get to this one. I'm sure everyone is familiar with the Academy F-4 family so I won't post pics of the sprues. I got the Eduard BigEd set, Eduard Brassin cockpit, and Furball "Air Wing All Stars" decals. Not sure which squadron I'm going to do just yet. I still have time to decide on that one.

This was to be a build with RexCag's help, so this is for him.

A nice tribute to Rex... looking forward to watching this come together.

This is going to be amazing, the brassin cockpit should be a direct fit with no annoying trimming to it or the kit.

Oh yea...I'm watching this one. The VF-142 scheme with the yellow spine is awesome.

My vote is for VF-114. The mascot reminds me of the old “B.C.” comic strip... Since I don’t see a VF-111 option here...
