Cal Fire OV-10A Bronco COMPLETE

Post by keavdog »

I did a huge conversion on the S2T CalFire and now I'm doing the OV-10A Command bird.

Sticking with the 1/72 scale I was a little dissapointed that the only decals are for the older livery but, hey - no worries.

So converting the military version to the Cal Fire requires carving off the ordanace capabilities. Minor modification compared to the S2T. Anyhow, under construction.

No weapons sponsons, and new props compared to the original...

Yep, not too many mods for this one as she doesn't drop water or phostek. Command and control for Cal Fire so her original role is spot on. She is a beautiful twin boom bird. And that canopy is either for visibility or sun tans! More to come soon
Thanks,
John
