The cockpit components are almost finished. Now it is on you my friend to decide which seat to be used for the model.

Both look pretty awesome.

Well you set the bar high, Marius! This is without a doubt some of the finest finescale work in 1/72 I have seen! Both seats are consistently finished to such a convincing degree of realism that making a choice is incredibly difficult. I think since you are there and able to see how the seats will integrate with the rest of the cockpit that you should choose.

Thank you all.
I chose the kit seat for the model. Test assembly into cockpit tube.

The resin seat will be displayed similar to this test setup.

Fantastic choice! What was your rationale? Also, the “Seat in a bottle” is quite striking! Bravo!

Well, I chose the kit seat because of better fitting and more important: the ejection rails on the resin are slightly deformed and partially missing. I can fix that later. But I wanna proceed the kit now not later.

Superb looking cockpit - very nicely detailed. Good call on the seat.

That it is... almost worth its own little spot on the shelf next to the build

Yes—logic! Fascinating conversation! I’ve been away from model building but not from model builders, because you are my friends and fellow soldiers in whatever campaign model building is set against. This is incredible work in any scale, Marius, revealing of your arsenal of techniques in ways that are simply staggering. This is an inspired job of recreating the tones and textures of the actual aircraft itself. I look forward to your next moves!
