That is without doubt one of the best looking 109's I've seen John! Superb work with all the extra bits that went into it - you'd never know that cowling wasn't part of the original kit.

Thanks guys! Getting the AMUR Reaver cowling to blend in was a very high priority on this build so I'm happy that it was a decent fit and I was able to accomplish that goal. One thing that I was afraid of going into a one-color scheme was to overcompensate with too much weathering so I tried to keep the weathering relatively light.

Now it is on to the next one and I can also start thinking about the next project. Fw190D-13? Me262B Nightfighter? Fw190D-9 with Ta152 tail?

You nailed that one tone scheme, beautiful work. I really dig that blueish grey.
When the sun of culture hangs low even dwarfs throw shadows.
