Fujimi 1/72 McDonnell Douglas A-1H Skyraider

I found this model in a pawn shop for $10
The decals are too old, so I will have to find some after market ones.
I did get a resin cockpit from Aries and a photo etch set from Eduard.
I have the Hasegawa Skyraider, so I decided to use the resin cockpit on it and steal the Hasegawa kit cockpit and use it in place of the Fujimi poor excuse of a cockpit. I will use the Eduard set to help as well.

It’s always fun to fit the cockpit from one manufacturer into the airframe of another company’s kit. Good luck!

This version of the Skyraider is one of my favorites. It is a beast. Not too fond of the side-by-side version.

I have been working on the much need detail to the wheel wells on the Skyraider.
The Fujimi kit has no detail.
The Hasagawa Skyraider looks like this/
I found this photo on-line.
I'm not finished but this is what I came up with so far.
