Why not glue those cockpit pieces in (J43, J44, J23) into place and paint them all at once since they are the same color? You'll find several advantages... less cleanup to deal with and the glue works better on unpainted surfaces.

Hullo! Yes that makes sense. There’s some PE going in on the lower sides - map case? And I still have to grind a bit more down to add the PE slabs on either side of the seat. So... I thought I’d leave those delicate pieces off for now. Thank you so much for your comments!!! Sincerely.

Is it just me programming my mind about this kit or does every part need to jiggered to fit. Good morning, T!

Dunno what jiggered means, my translation tool don't show me any useful. Fit should be tight but generally good. Maybe the tooling has suffered a bit over all these years. But you're Bruce of Brucington, you'll figure it out.

Jiggered comes from my burned out mind on a deadline tomorrow trying to come up with what the word actually is. My Dad would call it finesse. You’re spot on about the fit being precise. I need more wiggle room, so I’m widening some of the slots. I know there is a modeler term for fitting finicky parts in tight places. Hah. I gotta rack out.

“Jiggered” works for me! So do mash, stuff, wedge, force, hammer ....
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
