Good looking kit Stuart! The Airwaves PE set and the Xtradecals are excellent additions! I do love those late Cold War green and grey wraparound camo schemes.

Like this one you mean? :-D

I know what you mean, I really like that scheme too - it's my favourite in fact, and this one may end up in it - but I've never done a trainer scheme and I thought it might be a challenge. We'll see.

The PE set I've found out is for another kit and the PE IP's are much larger that those in the kit. I'm wondering if I'll be able to cut them down to size.

I've wanted to get a Hawk that they were going to use for the T-X program here. I got to see one up close and flying. I'd like to paint it up like a US Air Force jet.

That would be awesome! There are a couple of 1/48 scale kits of the Hawk 100 series (Airfix and Kinetic) and Airfix have just recently re-released their excellent little 1/72 kit.

I'd get that one too. Oh wait... never mind, it's 1/72 scale... :bored: :giggles: :giggles: :giggles:

I’ve never built one... need to consider getting this kit... :hmm: In the meantime I’ll enjoy watching this build!
