The flat coat really puts an exclamation point on the finish so far! Looking fabulous!

Thanks Lee, Mike, Stuart and John!! I appreciate all you guys feedback and comments.

Progress on this one's been slow because I've been tinkering around with the truck again. The Friday before this past one I took the plunge and switched from the throttle body fuel injection to carburetion. From a performance standpoint this is JUST what this engine needed.

and afterwards......

Thanks Brent!!

Been a bit since I've been in here. Lots happening here at home these days. LOTS!!!

This will most likely be my last update till she's finished which aint all that far away. Still got the canopy to paint and install, gun bay panels to open up, aerial antennae and last little details to install. She's now on her feet.

Looks pretty close to completion now! It should not be too long now.

The 262 looks great, Joe! Can't wait to see her with the canopy installed.

Thanks you guys. Been chiseling away at the last few bits over the weekend. Getting closer and closer. Still got position lights, Morane antenna, canopy and aerials to go but she's just about done.
