Nice work on the cockpit!! I would have never known there was a difference in version.

To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

That's a nice bit of cockpit work, those decals really helped.
It's coming along nicely!

So after a nice cockpit, things are going downhill.
These decals suck. I remember them sucking the first time, and they suck again. Also I am just not happy with the silver, so once those decals come off, I am going to try some AK metal colours. Then I'll get the Draw Decal set for the Big Beautiful Doll as this was meant to be. Or maybe not even, and just go with a totally different aircraft that has a black tail. Hmm things to think about.
Maybe these:

Damn that sucks! I hate when decals do that.

Yeah, but every closed door only shows you to another open one.

Alright Declan. NOW I've had an opportunity to look at this. Dude you're ok. There is no endgame to this hobby as we're all learning at different levels. Hang in there and keep moving forward with learning new skills. This is looking pretty dang good so far and your attitude about this whole ordeal is great. Glad you're here brother.
Re: 1/48 P51 for MCM GB
Ah that's a pain that, but it can be sorted out. I had a similar issue on my P-51 earlier in the year. The decal broke up in a few places, so I just filled in the gaps with paint.
