d.501 and La7 final pictures

Today finally the good weather to get final pictures of recent dewoitine and long time finished Lavochin 7:

Both painted with italeri/vallejo acrilics and homemade colors

Dewoitine D.501 , Smer kit (heller ) with few mods

Both are good builds BSYamato. How did you do the metal bands on the La-7 cowling?

I used aluminium foil from oven food container.. dunno the english name but.. this type:

Same material used for the belly radiator intake and out take

thinner than cans aluminium

Two very sharp little builds! :shoutout: I really like the look of the D.501. It has the lines that cross between a war plane and a between the wars racer :hmm:
