British AH-1 Sioux

Post by keavdog »

Did this one for a group build. Not a bad kit, but needed a bit of work.

I’m not used to seeing the old Bell in other than US colors. Very nicely done. :shoutout:
Which kit is this?

This was the Italeri kit. Comes with US, British and Italian markings. The truss is way out of scale - scales out to about a human arm. Other than that it's not bad. It comes with a couple guns (mounted on the US version) that are worth keeping - M60s I think. Nicely done.
Thanks,
John

very nice details you updated, the frames are a problem but no good way to rework it. I like it .

Well done. Mine is in a box. In pieces after it fell off the shelf.

Well done. Looks like the 1/48 kit? Yeah if the tail boom were to scale it would be extremely fragile.

Thanks for the kind words. It's 1/48. A PE truss would be great for this kit.
