Had one of those just build something and don't sweat it moments
Had a lot of fun with this 45 year old Airfix kit. Decals worked perfectly

One of my all time favorites, the small Fouga.

was watching a show on the Smithsonian channel, Air Disasters, about the death of Dag Hammarskjöld, the UN General Secretary. He died in a plane crash on final approach to Ndola in what is now Zambia. There were Top Secret recordings that recorded a voice in a fighter saying target has been shot down. CIA people recognized the voice as a known mercenary pilot...flying a,, yep, Fouga Magister.

No evidence was found of gun or missile damage outside the aircraft. There were a number of bullets recovered from bodies, but it turns out they were from the weapons carried by security and discharged in the resulting fire.
