I cancelled his 1/32 B-17 project that was next. :nono:
What!?! He didn’t choose the 1/32 scale Lancaster instead?! :giggles:

I saw the size of the box of the 1/32 scale Lancaster kit at Syrcon. That wingspan has to be at least 4 feet wingtip to wingtip.
Oh yeah, vendor was selling it for $220 - a bargain price compared to $300-$400 in most places.

Indeed…,102 foot wingspan so I guess that translates to a shade over 3 feet? It’s my understanding the B-25 is for a museum display, hence the massive size needed. The B-17 as well. I have future plans to build the B-17, but that exchange will be made in person.

Oh, please do build the B-17! It ,will be amazing.

Then, the 1/48 b-36!

I’ve done the 1/72 scale B-36 Peacemaker bomber. That’s pretty big enough. But those propellers are something that’s begging “Break the prop blades off already!” :giggles:

A fun kit to do back then.

Wow, what a magnificent model! Congratulations on getting it finished, you did a masterful job! After seeing this and hearing of some of the issues, I don't blame you for canceling the B-17. I also built a 1/72 scale B-36 like Blacksheep did; I believe I did break off most of those propellers! :bag:
