1/48 Carrier Tractors

Post by Medicman71 »

So I wanted another easy and quick build (yeah, right) so I got out the Skunk Models Carrier Tractors. Yes I know it's not armor but it is military so there!! :tease:

There's two kits in the box on four sprues. One is the MD-3 tractor and the other is the A/S32A-32. Both are used to move aircraft around on the carrier decks.

Doesn't take long to build up the main tractor. All that's left is the seat, steering wheel and tires.

Very cool! Ground equipment keeps ‘em flying and is sadly under represented in all scales for all eras and nations.

Scored these at the model show here. With as many US Navy aircraft that I have, they will come in handy!

This is so true.

They are looking good, shouldn't be long till you knock these out.

Nice touch! Now motorized them... :giggles:
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
