Thanks, Joe and Stuart! This thing will not turn loose, but we plow ahead.

Ready to mount the engine...maybe. That always terrifies me because it usually doesn't fit very well for me.

just sitting in place...

rear suspension done, i guess.

The decals from Speedway that i was sent are different from what was on the web page. did not get the radio or heater controls. I can print them, i guess. Still pretty nice work.

Not sure but the image on the website might have been multiple sheets. Contact him. Tommy's a good fair guy.

Yeah, he seems to be a straight shooter. May shoot him a message.

I've known him since probably 03 or so. If I didn't trust him I wouldn't recommend his decals.

I understand and believe him to be very trustworthy. Sent him a note this morning. Those types of folks are good to keep around.

He is a bit slow, but not bad considering it is likely just Tom doing this. Sending me the heater and radio pieces as "samples". the sheet with the dials litterly fell apart just from handling. Could barely get two that were useable. No biggie. Got what I needed. Certainly will use him again.

Dashboard...looks like the bmf could use some additional trimming. I ended up using some pieces from a sheet of aircraft instruments for the four small gauges.

Image

Mixed up a bit of semi-gloss bac and flat black. Through careful scientific plannining, okay, dumb luck....i got the exact results I wanted. Happy, happy. this is the interior.

Image

And, loosing my ever-lovin' mind trying to figure out a way to do the trim on the door panels. Finally gave up and decided that rather than destroy the model by trying to do a two-row trim as in pictures, it will be one that i can trim out with a sharp blade. I think it will work.
