LOL. I hear ya on that Tom. I'll be breaking out the Tamiya Smoke to bring out the most in it too.

Thanks Paul. Today I cut the roof to the desired length. Here's the two bodies side by side to show the length added and the difference:

Thanks Thomas and Kari. Should be getting the donor kit within the week. I think a similar kit (1988 Chevrolet Beretta) has the engine I need as well for half the price so I'll be checking more into that before I make a purchase.

Still in thoughts on this one. I've just gotta figure out which kit I'm going to get the motor from. It looks like the Revell 1988 Beretta Pro Street has the same engine for about 60% less money than the J2000 kit's going for, plus the Beretta is being re-released in November so everything will have a fresh chrome plating. I've got an email shot off to Revell to see if it's the complete engine or less turbo charger set up. Additionally, I'm focusing a lot of my efforts on my Arado 234 build right now but I'll be back on this one soon.

It just so happens that I ................SNAGGED IT!!! $22.00 off of ebay!! Looks like we're movin' forward with that engine build!!!! :dancing:
