Gloss coat is dried but I need to buy more bare metal foil at Hobby Lobby soon for the trimwork. Some I can do using the Molotov chrome pen. I'll probably get more of that as well.

Stopped by Hobby Lobby today and didn’t find any Bare Metal Foil. I’ll wait a week or so and see if they restock it. On the drive home, I forgot to pick up the Molotov chrome pen I’ve been meaning to pick up. :headbang: Oh well....

I also noticed Hobby Lobby carries mostly AMT auto kits and a few Revell auto kits as well. Rarely I’ll find 1, maybe 2 auto kits by MPC. It’s a shame really because I’ve always loved MPC auto kits over AMT. AMT auto kits are notoriously known for flash (lots of it depending on the kit) and fit issues due to the ago of the molds.

I remember AMT were great kits back in the 70s & 80s. Not in this century. Sad really....

AMT made some great kits into the 90’s. At least in aircraft. But then they stopped making military models shortly afterwards. Which is too bad because they tackled subjects nobody else did.
