Thanks guys. I got the rigging on and will be adding a few more items. I ordered some 3D RHIBs since the kit one looked more like a lump of plastic.
I'll start on the base soon.
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting the head off a Hydra, two more take it’s place.

just amazing. That is all.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Thanks so much guys.
I started the base, so here's what I'm doing step by step.
I went to HL and bought one of those shadow box plaques with some type of sentiment on it that fits the approximate measurements I'm looking for.
I then cut some hard-white Styrofoam (my favorite) to fit inside the box then drew out the hull outline. I then cut out the outline and dug it out to fit my ship. Next up, I'll work on the rough shape of the waves and wake.

Yes, the Perry looks much better in the tray than one of those motivational phrases... :ballbat:
"Surely I have made my meaning plain? I intend to avenge myself upon you, Admiral. I have deprived your ship of power, and when I swing 'round, I intend to deprive you of your life."
