Thank you for your kind words, gentleman!

Tigrazor: It's an engraved nameplate like it's been used for mail boxes or door bells. You can get them in any hardware store or online, of course.
I think a brass sign would be nice for your bust. Just sayin'... ;)

Final act: The breath holding odds and ends.

The antenna is made of stretched sprue. The advantage is that both parts of the bond are made of styrene. This allows me using Tamiya Extra Thin. After a short drying time the bonds are stronger than the antenna itself. The slight slack was corrected with a heated screw driver. Get close, but don't touch it! Worked like a charm. The isolators are made of CA drops.

Landing gear indicators are also streched sprue, attached with white glue.

Thank you all for your encouragement. Was a great experience for me to participate in this GB with such great modellers and people.

More pics to come in the gallery.

:bye: Torben

I read through from beginning to end. This be a timeless build of a gorgeous model. The care you place upon making the parts fit is both deeply felt and keenly observed. You translate the cockpit grays I have committed to my memory banks as accurate to the painted surfaces of the prototype as I have seen since I first turned eyes to seeing, if that makes sense. To see the color gray with the eyes of not only the modeler, but the eyes of the original makers is no small feat and I feel you have done so. One imagines the manufacturer and the pilot nodding in agreement.
