One Weeker Tweaker Build

Post by Adam »

Anyone up for a one week build? Pick a nice easy 1/72 fighter and get it done in a week. I've done these before and they are pretty fun and aren't as completely rushed as a weekend madness build.
It's up to you how much money you want to spend and how many new words you want to create "correcting" something.

I am interested in a "one week build". I failed miserably at the weekend GB, it is just to short for me. But a week shoudl be possible. Provied it uncludes both weekends.....

Seems possible. Would there be glue, paint and filler involved?
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Sure we could include both weekends.

Yes Lyle the goal would be a completely finished model at the end. I find this to be fun and relaxing but your mileage may vary. I usually don't pay as close attention to stuff like seams and getting every little detail painted just right. I also usually don't do much weathering on these. It's just fun to build something and not really care and actually get it done. Those Hobby Boss easy kits are perfect for stuff like this. I may do one.

I do not think anyone made a limitation on the subject matter....

There are no rules Jim. You can do whatever you want. You could do a 1/200 battleship for all I care! Just do your best to get it done in a week.
