Here we go again:
August Leaflet

(Sometimes it loads slowly. I recommend to use the "save target as" option of your browser.)

The 1/48 GBU-32s look quite tempting!

Reading through the leaflet, I see a lot of Spitfire stuff, more exactly for the Tamiya 1/32 kit. Almost made me to believe that Tamiya has secretely come out with a new updated one!

But then a brief look on Scalemates.com, revealed this was absolutely not the case....

I wondered about that choice as well, Kari. Actually confused me! What are the "Edwardians" thinking??? Perhaps they are suddenly building Tamiya Spitfires for their own collections? Is this an anti-Revell reaction? That makes no sense at all. The Revell kit as you have shown so far is wonderful. I only think about the Pacific Coast Model version because of its fantastic resin. I dunno why but all of the Eduard resin I purchase stays in its thick plastic boxing and all of the PE stays in its baggies, but I love their instructions and drawings! Very useful to scratch-build because the choices are there to see...

I wonder if the Kitty Hawk Airacobra is worthy or not.

:hmm:

Well, if the Kitty Hawk Airacobra can be built up like the one in the photo, and one can afford it (Kitty Hawk kits are too pricey for my budget), then it looks to be worth it.

Especially since they have both thermally and non-thermally coated ones.
