Have a great trip Kari.
I was stationed on Lampadusa, Italy back in 90 and was able to take a short tour of most of Europe except for the British Iles. My wife and I are making plans for an England, Scotland, Ireland trip at some point in the future, hopefully within the next couple years. The wife's grandfather was Scottish and my maternal grandmother was British so we really want to go and see the area. There are so many things I want to see. My paternal family is from Switzerland and like to make it there again as well.
The other countries I'd like to see.
Japan
Australia

Thank you guys!

Crazy to think that it's more than a month ago I was on vacation...

Autumn / fall is coming and dusting off the bench...
All the bits and pieces waiting for next steps.

Soon!

Well, is it done? :lashed:

Phantom project will resume soon...

But, after looking at Declans ongoing build with his P-51, I got really motivated to pull out my Airfix P-51 from my shelf of doom and continue with it.

"unpacking all" bits and pieces.... and then to realise that...

Oh bummer. Wheels up then I suppose - or a crash landing dio with one failed gear.
Thanks,

Is this a 1/48 scale? You could get some aftermarket ones to replace if you wanted to spend the money... oorrrr just switch it to in flight?
Glad to see another mustang here!

Yeah, it’s 1/48 scale. Thanks but no, would not want to spend any extra to this kit. It’s a nice kit though.

I really need to do a search and rescue mission in all my boxes, drawers etc etc. I cannot have lost the piece, it just cannot be lost! :hmm:
