P-40 in the ETO - Airfix 1/72 Tomahawk mk.I

Aircraft, Ships, Armor, etc....not manufactured in the country of use. This will cover WW 2 to present day.

The yellow lines on the wings look very crispy and sharp ! Very nice!

nice idea with the change in markings.

How did the plane all go together?
Every take-off has a landing...some are just better than others

Thanks for the comments all, it's appreciated!

I had to change the markings, I found my cat curled up asleep on my modelling tray and on top of this model :headslap: - she'd broken off the guns and the antenna post - so rather than replace them I chose these markings as this aircraft had them removed - besides you don't normally see P-40s in the Day Fighter Scheme.

Owl - It goes together really nicely - the wing fit needed a bit of filler/sanding but otherwise its been a fun build.

The decals are on - just a matt coat and some weathering to do!

That is a nifty, neat-o scheme. It does look good on the P-40.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
