The way you handle delicate PE makes me certain you would handle rigging well. I just know you could do it, Mike. Also I bought my first WnW kits two years ago (Sopwith Camels featuring asymmetric rigging) with the assurance from WnW that every kit they designed could be built without rigging and still provide enjoyment. Additionally, a Dr.1 has very simple rigging. Basically rigging is divided into either bracing or control lines, and as far as I’m concerned some fly tying monofilament and CA ought to get the job done. So go build a biplane, lol! Cheers, mate.

It’s really not all that hard to do. In fact, I did an experiment using sprues.

Lyle! Happy Sunday! Thank you for your comments, sincerely. Richard at Aviattic makes fantastic aftermarket decals for WWI aircraft. He also offers full kits, too. Most of his work is in 1/32 so I was ecstatic to find he made decals in 1/48 for the Revell Fokker Tripe which are adaptable to the Eduard kit I am building. I have been working on my paid gigs so my time with model building has been limited. I am hoping to start a buddy build with Carlos Kahn of WWI subjects after he completes his X-35.

Yessir. Well spotted!

Love airships - so cool! Can you imagine travelling around the world in something like that - I can understand why steampunk is so popular.

Looking forward to seeing this build when it happens Bruce, such a good subject and those decals look wonderful.
