My guess Academy AH-1Z Shark Mouth Attack Helicopter.... 1/35 scale.
I’ve got that on my watch list at scalehobbyist. :lashed:

Very nice Choice Mike - I'll look forward to those.

Is it just me though - as awesome as the Zulu is I just don't think an AH-1 looks right with a four bladed rotor... :hmm:

They don’t sound right either... I see them flying up and down the coast here every so often. The rotor sound is completely different than the original Huey/Cobra that I served with.

Wow, sensational pic! Man, I wish I could get both of those in 1/72 scale!

These will be the 1/48 Kitty Hawk kits. By the time I get to them I hope to get some aftermarket decals for them from Flying Leathernecks Decals.

I've got both the UH-1Y and the AH-1Z, I've got the Yankee almost done, There are some fiddly areas, especially if you plan to close up the access hatches. The build allows for either option, I went with closed and it left some gaps that I had to work on. Be ready for some ejector pin marks, not only depressed ones, but if you've built any other KH kits, you'll be familiar with the large extruded ejector pin marks that look as though they continued to inject plastic into the mold as it was opening. Overall, a decent kit with some patience. The photo-etch included with the kit does help with some of the detail aspects.

I haven't started the AH-1 yet. The Yankee was the last kit I worked on until last year, I needed a break from ejector pins. LOL
