Thank you. I do like the Grumman flying boats. Wish there was a Mallard kit around.

I have to say I've not heard of the Mallard member of the family, I had to google it. I've always liked the look of the Goose but I've yet to find a kit at a realistic price - even the old Lindburg (is that the right spelling) kit goes for a fair bit over hear. It's funny really, I've always said flying boats are one of my favourite types of aircraft but I've never actually build one.

did the Lindbergh OA-9 Goose a while back. Not a bad kit to assemble. Fun build.

Nothing wrong with a simple build anyway - the best kind in a lot of ways.
