1/48 Hasegawa F4-J - Cunninghams mount

This is the Cunningham/Driscoll mount when Cunningham got his 5th kill. Fought me all the way and plenty of mistakes but basically looks like a phantom.

Great finish John! It may have fought you a bit, but you won.

Cunningham got his 3rd, 4th, and 5th kills in this bird. He only has two kills to his credit when he launched on that mission.

Thanks Stik - ya what a mission. And this plane ended up going down at the end.

Yes, after the third kill he was on his way back out to sea, and they were shot down. Our side says by a SAM, the Viets say it was a Mig-21.
