I've made a bit more progress, Wings on, tail on - I'm just working on the seams.
Alas however, I have broken three of the gun barrels! I'm thinking I'll either just SB new ones, or I'll buy some metal AM ones.

I'd get metal ones. They look better and won't break.

That's what I'm thinking,. I've actually removed all 4 barrels and have re-drilled the holes.to take them.

This is going together really quick!
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

Quite right - beg pardon, it's actually an A-8jkim wrote:Remember... no outboard wing cannon on the F-8!
I've just picked up two sets of Master metal barrels - they look a lot better than the plastic stubs the kit comes with!
It's a really simple kit, these little 1/72 WWII fighters are great for quick builds - I've just put a few dabs of filler in places, but other than that the seam clean up is easy.Floki wrote:This is going together really quick!

Nice work! Looks like 190, too.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Nice work on that small plane Stuart! Interestingly enough, my very first 1/72 scale plane was a Focke Wulf FW-190. Glad to see you fixing this oversight man!

Beautiful work painting and installing so far! Is this a small gouge from cutting the ring off a sprue or is it something in the photo?
