Wow. There's a few of us metalheads in here!! I too listen to metal and classic rock. Rush, Dream Theater, Avenged Sevenfold, Alter Bridge, Five Finger Death Punch to name just a few of many. I have a iPod plugged into computer speakers on my desk. I just set it to random and jam out.

I like the audio book idea, and the speakers. My son burns anything I want to CD, but an iPod or MP3 would be a great idea.

As for non-metal, I'm a big fan of older Rush, Deep Purple, Zepplin, etc...

My Goodness....I'm old. I didn't see any Andy Williams, Perry Como, Cowsills, Wayne Newton, well kidding about Wayne Newton. Dankeshoen.

I used to like to listen to Styx, Journey, CCR, Eagles, stuff like that. . . haven't put any music on. Hadn't thought of it. Duh.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
