59, I wonder why there are two seats done?
The IP looks stunning! Love the used look of the pedals! :shoutout:

Hi Thomas. I played with both seats that were available, the QB resin and the kit offering, so that in the end I could choose the one that made me feel good. Ultimately, I chose to install the QB resin seat:

Now, I must wait for the New Year before continuing, as the grand-kids too young for modelling need baby-sitting.

Happy New Year, fellow modellers :bye:

With the holidays now kaput, it's time to play with some modelling.
I was able to complete the P-51 cockpit:

The Eduard stuff is always very nice. The trouble is that a-lot of it involves dressing up areas you'll never be able to see very well once the model is built. I always fight with myself over buying a set, considering the rather pricey purchase price verses the actual visual benefit. Nobody ever looks at my models except me; sometimes I feel like I'm just :DH: .

Anyway, forever forward.

Cockpit work is a skill that I need to start looking into developing, I see some really incredible detail on this forum and yours is a glowing example of the standard I would like to one day get to! Fantastic work!

The cockpit is just fantastic!

Difficult to believe the scale, it's so detailed! Could be honestly, a 1/48

Thanks so much for the comments, guys. This kind of support is very well received.

I do hope to get further work done on the P-51 sometime this week, and I will certainly post progress. however, I have a cat in heat that's bugging me at the bench to no end, and I can't let her out. It's bad enough fighting off cat hairs at the bench, let alone a live, frisky feline looking for a little. :kitty:

Yep, and she's going in right after this, her first heat.
