A lot of earlier marks actually got refitted with the new wing and canopy. When ever modelling a Parnell Putty Pursuit Plane one shuold check the refences by serial number and date. Because if the aircraft was refitted this must be taken into account.
And the white Play-do spinner is actually a myth, much like the purple Rufe. It was either sky blue like this one on earlier marks or a refitted mauve or taupe spinner. These late marks or refitts can be modeled with the long out of production mauve and taupe Play-do but these fetch crazy prices on Ebay.

mmh.. not convinced about the trenches panel lines, seems old matchbox kits. Also wells dept :lol: :lol:
