The Japanese(and most of Asia), are not so tobacco averse. I don’t think they worry too much about the age factor in anime.

Kari, Carlos is right about tobacco in Japan they don't see it the way we do. Plus the show has be running since 1999 with 896 episodes and the show is still going. The creator Eiichiro Oda says he might have another couple hundred episodes left in him before ending. I will using my go to Tamiya primer, Bandai does this a lot having multiple colors on one sprue.

Very cool! I've seen a few episodes of this. Not my thing when it comes to anime but cool none the less.

Got some work done on the decking.
First sprayed them with Tamiya fine grey primer. Then picked a few boards out and sprayed them Tamiya flat black. Next I sprayed all the decking with a 50/50 mix of Tamiya Dark Yellow and Buff. Lastly I masked off a few boards on each piece and took the 50/50 mix and added a equal part of Tamiya Deck Tan so final mixture is 1:1:1.

More to come later, thanks for looking in!

Great wood nuances, also nicely detailed (ship) parts!

Thank you guys. I gave them a acrylic gloss clear coat today followed by a grey filter then a dark pin wash between the boards. Tomorrow after it's all dry I'll give them a flat coat of Mr. Hobby UV cut flat.
