I need some advice. If you look at Step 14, there are 3 PE parts that needs to be installed on the inside of main canopy.



I know CA will fog clear parts so I don't want to go that route. My thought is epoxy glue is a safe alternative? I bought Gorilla Expoxy glue last night. I'm not sure if gorilla glue epoxy would fog clear parts. Only way to find out is test it on scrap clear, I suppose...

I would go with a white glue like Testors canopy glue just to be safe.

Would it hold the PE parts?

I'm using white glue for all my pe parts unless they are external. Holds very well and if I goof up it just peels off when cured.

I've never had epoxy fog anything before. But yes, try an experiment on a spare canopy or other clear part before committing to using it on a project. I've become something of an epoxy fan over the past couple of years in place of CA... especially the quick set type. Each as their place on your work bench.

As I said before, I need to experiment using expoxy glue. It’s the Gorilla Glue brand that’s getting me wary of fogging a clear canopy.

Stik has a bunch of Japanese canopies - maybe he can lend you one to experiment on
